Hi.

Hi, I’m Tayla, a Licensed and ASHA-Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) dedicated to helping individuals communicate with confidence and connection.

I found my way into Speech-Language Pathology in 2018 while searching for a career that felt meaningful — and it turned out to be the perfect fit. I earned my B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida in 2020, followed by my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Kentucky University in 2023.

Now in my fifth year as an SLP, I’m grateful every day that I get to do this work. I specialize in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and supporting early language learners, especially children who are minimally verbal or thrive through multimodal communication. My therapy style is collaborative, strengths-based, and focused on functional communication success in daily life.

Outside of “speech world,” I’m usually:
☕️ Grabbing a coffee
📚 Lost in a new book
✈️ Exploring cities and countries
🐾 Spending time outdoors with my family and my dog, Knox

What you can expect working with me:
✔️ Personalized, evidence-based therapy
✔️ Support for families, caregivers, and teams
✔️ A positive environment where communication growth is celebrated
